ABOUT PARAGUAY

Paraguay is a small country located in South America.

Paraguay has two regions: the western region, which is slightly less populated, and the eastern region, with a larger population where Asuncion, the capital city, is located. Paraguay has a humid climate; but it’s pretty hot. There are no marked seasons, it has only a few cool days and the rest of the year is quite hot.

 

The country’s development center is Itaipu Binational Hydroelectric Plant, which is shared with Brazil, as well as the third largest freshwater reserve in the world, the Guaraní Aquifer. Paraguay has an excellent agricultural development specialized in soybean production and cattle export.

 

The Paraguayan currency is the Guaraní and there are two official languages ​​in the country: Spanish and Guaraní; 99% of the population speaks and understands both languages; However, in the countryside Guaraní is the most spoken language. Paraguay has a rich history and countless natural and cultural attractions.

 

 The most beautiful thing about Paraguay, even said by foreigners, is its people. Paraguayans are very kind, supportive and very humble in every way.
